A base model of Triumph’s highest selling motorcycle the Bonneville, has been spied testing on the roads of UK.
The prototype that was spied carried a single brake disc, instead of dual ones. It also gets a smaller radiator, making us believe that the power output will be considerably less than the top-spec model. The headlamp seen on this test mule is new, just like the alloy-wheels. It also gets an updated exhaust design, which looks quite nice.
While the current range of air-cooled Bonneville has been listed as 2016 models, this upcoming model could be sold as a 2017 model. It’s the same year where the international markets will apply the Euro IV emission norms and ABS as standard.
We are expecting this base Bonneville to head the Indian market next year and will be priced lower than the current model. This will help the company cater to a wider audience.
