- 2021 Speedmaster, Bobber unveiled
- Gets aesthetic updates, new features
- Engine is now Euro 5 compliant
Triumph Motorcycles has just revealed the 2021 Bonneville Speedmaster and the single-seater Bobber. Both these bikes have received a decent mechanical and aesthetic upgrades along with some new equipment addition.
In terms of styling, the new Speedmaster gets revised styling and new paint schemes. The British brand has only made subtle changes to the bike in order to make it look fresh for 2021. The instrument cluster has also received some styling updates. It’s the same story with the Bobber. The design elements have been revised, but for Bobber, Triumph has given plenty of new updates. It gets a new full LED headlight with DRLs and also new instrument styling along with new blacked out paint scheme.
The British brand has equipped the new Bobber with larger 12-litres fuel tank, new showa front forks and 16-inch front wheel with fat tyre and also higher spec Brembo braking system. The Speedmaster, too, gets higher spec front forks.
When it comes to power, both the bikes retains the same engine which also makes about the same power like the outgoing model. But now it is Euro 5 compliant. The company also claims that this engine is more responsive and has reduced the overall inertia.
We are expecting both the bikes to come to India within a few months but this time around, we hope Triumph price them quite competitively as both the bikes aren’t fast moving bikes due to its niche product positioning.
