Triumph Motorcycles will launch the new Rocket 3 221 Special Editions in the Indian market tomorrow. These new special models, similar to the standard Rocket 3 range, will be sold in two variants – R and GT.
The new Triumph Rocket 3 221 Special Edition motorcycles get styling tweaks over their respective standard models. These models, which celebrate the 221Nm of torque produced by the 2,458cc engine, feature ‘221’ decals on the fuel tank. The decals also include engine specs like ‘2458cc engine, 167PS power, 85.9mm stroke and 110.2mm bore’ on the fuel tank. Apart from the decals, these Special Editions also get a Red Hopper base paint along with Sapphire Black colour for the flyscreen, side panels, rear section, radiator cowls, and headlamp cowls get. The changes are limited to styling revisions.
The Rocket 3 Special Edition variants should carry a price premium over their respective standard models. The Rocket 3 R and the Rocket 3 GT, which are already available in the Indian market, are currently listed for Rs 19.90 lakh and Rs 20.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India), respectively.
