Triumph Motorcycles India has announced the launch of the Scrambler 900 in our market. This motorcycle, which was formerly known as the Street Scrambler, is available in three colours and prices start at Rs 9.45 lakh. The paint options include Jet Black, Matte Khakhi, and Carnival Red with Jet Black.
The Jet Black and Matte Khakhi colour options feature a single-tone finish and do not get any graphics. The Carnival Red with Jet Black paint, on the other hand, gets a dual-tone finish and it features black graphics on the fuel tank. Do note that the dual-tone paint version is also the most expensive one on the list. Check out the complete colour-wise price list for the new Triumph Scrambler 900 below:
Jet Black: Rs 9.45 lakh
Matte Khakhi: Rs 9.58 lakh
Carnival Red with Jet Black: Rs 9.75 lakh
The differences are limited to the colours while the styling, feature list, and specifications are identical on all three paint options. Thus, the Scrambler 900 packs a round headlight, a teardrop-shaped fuel tank with an asymmetrically-mounted filler cap, split-style seats, wire-spoke wheels, and a tall-set twin-pod exhaust design.
The mechanical specifications on the Scrambler 900 are identical to the Street Scrambler and the motorcycle uses a BS6-compliant, 900cc, parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, the motor produces 64.1bhp at 7,250rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,250rpm. The hardware comprises telescopic front forks, twin rear springs, and disc brakes on both wheels. Meanwhile, the Triumph Scrambler 900 rivals the Ducati Scrambler range in the Indian market.
