- Triumph Speed 400 arrives at dealerships
- Deliveries have commenced in Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad
- Speed 400 priced at Rs. 2.33 lakh
Previously, Triumph Motorcycles India had confirmed that it commenced the dispatches of its newly launched and most affordable motorcycle, the Speed 400, to the dealerships in our market. Now, the Indian arm of the British manufacturer has announced that the motorcycle has reached the dealerships, and its deliveries have commenced in various cities across the country. These currently include Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad.
As reported earlier, this motorcycle has received a positive response in the Indian market, and the first 10,000 units, which were available at a special discount, have already been sold out. In fact, dealer sources have indicated that the waiting period for the new Speed 400 is between 10 to 16 weeks, depending on the location. Notably, the waiting period is expected to decrease when Bajaj opens more Triumph showrooms nationwide. The company currently has a production capacity of 5,000 units per month in Bajaj Auto’s Chakan plant in India. This, however, could be further increased to keep up with the demand.
In more updates, Triumph Motorcycles India is now preparing to launch its second most affordable motorcycle in the Indian market, the Scrambler 400 X. This new model, which uses the same engine platform as the Speed 400, is scheduled to be launched in India in October this year. The bookings for both motorcycles are currently open online and at dealerships in the country.
