Triumph Motorcycles has launched the Speed Twin 900 in the Indian market with prices starting at Rs 8.35 lakh. The new Speed Twin 900, formerly known as the Street Twin, will be sold in three colours – Triumph Jet Black, Matte Ironstone, and new Matte Silver Ice.
The newly added Matte Silver Ice paint theme uses Matte Silver Ice finish on the fuel tank which is complemented by silver and yellow graphics. Meanwhile, the Jet Black colour is visible on the side panels and the mudguards. The Matte Ironstone colour, too, uses similar graphics as the Matte Silver Ice theme. Lastly, the Jet Black colour uses a single-tone finish with no graphics. Check out the complete price list below:

The styling cues are identical on all variants. Thus, the new Speed Twin 900 packs a round headlight, round shape for the rear-view mirrors, tear-drop-shaped fuel tank, single-piece saddle, and twin-sided exhaust canisters. The mechanical specifications and hardware, too, remain identical to the Street Twin.
The motorcycle retains the BS6-compliant, 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine from the Street Twin. Linked to a five-speed gearbox, the motor delivers 64.1bhp at 7,500rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,800rpm. Other hardware on the motorcycle comprises a tubular steel twin cradle frame, telescopic front forks, twin rear springs, and single discs on both wheels.
