- Triumph Speed Twin priced at Rs 10.99 lakh
- Offered in three colours
- Gets a 1200cc, parallel-twin engine
Triumph Motorcycles has launched the Speed Twin in India for a price tag of Rs 10.99 lakh, ex-showroom. And the modern-classic motorcycle is being offered in a choice of three colour options. First up is the Jet Black paint scheme, which as its name suggests is finished completely in black. It comes with a simple Triumph logo on the fuel tank.
On the other hand, the Red Hopper option gets a grey and yellow strip that highlights the logo and complements the red fuel tank. The side panel has been done in black. The third colour option for the 2021 Triumph Speed Twin is called Matte Storm Grey. Similar to the red paint scheme, it features a grey and yellow graphic on the fuel tank. Now, the Speed Twin retains the styling of the previous model. However, it receives a few updates like the new anodized headlamp and mudguard mounts, the new graphics, and the 12-spoke alloy wheels.
Powering the motorcycle is a 1200cc, parallel-twin engine that churns out 98.6bhp and 112Nm. As compared to the previous model, the 2021 Speed Twin also gets revised hardware. Its suspension setup comprises 43mm Marzochhi forks and pre-load adjustable twin shocks at the rear. Meanwhile, braking is done by Brembo M50 calipers for the front wheel. As for features, the new Speed Twin features three riding modes, traction control, and ABS. Triumph has also equipped the motorcycle with full-LED lighting, a USB charging socket, and a twin-pod semi-digital instrument cluster.
