Triumph Motorcycles India has announced the launch of the BS6-compliant Street Scrambler in our market. The motorcycle is available in two variants – Standard and Sandstorm.
The standard version of the middleweight scrambler motorcycle is available in three colours – Urban Grey, Jet Black, and Matte Khaki/Matte Ironstone. The Sandstorm variant, on the other hand, is listed in a single paint option – Sandstorm Matt Storm Grey. The Sandstorm version also benefits from added styling elements such as a tall-set front fender, headlight grille, and brushed alloy sump guard. Do note that the Sandstorm edition is available in limited numbers.
The standard variant of the Street Scrambler has been priced at Rs 9.35 lakh, making it Rs 60,000 cheaper than the Sandstorm edition.
Both variants use the same, BS6-compliant 900cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 64.1bhp of power at 7,250rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,250rpm. The hardware, too, is similar on both variants of the Street Scrambler range. Thus, the suspension tasks are handled by 41mm telescopic front forks and twin-sided rear shocks. The braking setup comprises a single 310mm disc at the front and a 255mm disc at the back.
