A couple of days ago, we reported about the new Triumph Street triple which will be launched in four versions. And interestingly, now there’s a rumour about a possible touring version in the range.
According to a website, one of their inside sources hinted about a semi-faired version that’ll become the fourth model under the new Street Triple line-up. While there’s no concrete information from Triumph on this, the source said that this model might end-up looking like the Yamaha Tracer.
We all know that there'll be four versions of the new Street Triple - the standard version, the Street Triple R, the Street Triple RT and the Street Triple RS. These details were revealed through a buyer’s survey sent out last year asking potential owners about their preferences for the machine and listing some details for the upcoming Street Triple. Out of all these models and if this rumour is true, the Street Triple RT could be the name of this touring version.
We can expect this touring version to get different body panels, windscreen , touring focused suspension setup or even handguards. This model also might get a tyre pressure monitoring system and touring oriented accessories. The exact launch of the new Street Triple range isn’t known yet, but we’re quite excited to see them.
