Triumph has introduced the Street Twin Gold Line in India along with the standard Street Twin. Here we tell you all there is to know about the special edition motorcycle.
Limited-edition
Triumph introduced the Street Twin Gold Line as a limited-edition model internationally with a production of just 1000 units. In India, the British marquee is offering just 30 units of the motorcycle. Each unit is offered with a certificate of authenticity matched to the VIN of the motorcycle.
What’s different?
To justify its exclusive tag, the Street Twin Gold Line gets a Matt Sapphire Black paint along with hand-painted gold striping on the fuel tank and side panels. It also sports gold rim tape and a graphite-finish that runs along the fuel tank that feature the retro Triumph logo and ‘Gold Line’ decal.
Pricing
Now, the limited-edition Triumph Street Twin Gold Line is priced at Rs 8.25 lakh; a premium of Rs 30,000 over the Street Twin that costs Rs 7.95 lakh, ex-showroom.
Same engine and features
Apart from the cosmetic differences, the Street Twin Gold Line remains the same as the standard Street Twin. It comes powered by a 900cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that churns out 64.1bhp at 7,500rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,800rpm. This motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox.
In terms of features, the Triumph Street Twin Gold Line offers a low, 765mm seat height, two riding modes, ABS, as well as switchable traction control as standard.
