- Global debut likely to happen very soon
- Indian launch likely next year
- To feature cross-spoke wheels and full-LED lighting
Triumph Motorcycles has released new video footage of its upcoming flagship adventure tourer, the Tiger 1200. The new footage gives a closer look at the motorcycle’s styling, headlight assembly, chassis and sub-frame, cross-spoke wheels, and other hardware.
While the company has revealed several details, it is yet to announce the unveiling details. We expect this new Tiger 1200 to make its global debut very soon. The Indian launch details are scarce, although we could see this new model on our shores soon after its global debut.
The styling cues on the new Triumph Tiger 1200, as seen in several photographs and videos published by the two-wheeler maker, will comprise a lean design, a twin-pod headlight, semi-fairing, tall windscreen, split-style saddle, tall-set exhaust, and tubeless-tyre compatible cross-spoke wheels.
Triumph Motorcycles has remained tight-lipped about the feature list, although we expect it to be at par with its rivals such as the BMW R 1250 GS and the Ducati Multistrada V4. The teaser video confirms full-LED lighting while the cockpit will most definitely feature a Bluetooth-enabled colour TFT display. The electronic rider aids, similar to its rivals, should include an inertia measurement unit, cornering ABS, and lean-sensitive traction control system to the motorcycle. Other features may include heated grips, heated seats, and a cruise control system.
