New Triumph Tiger 900 launched in India

- Available in three variants – GT, Rally and Rally Pro

- Prices range from Rs 13,70,000 to Rs 15,50,000

- Over 65 optional accessories available

Triumph Motorcycles has announced the launch of the new Tiger 900 range in the Indian market. The Indian market gets three variants of the Tiger 900 series – Tiger 900 GT, Tiger 900 Rally and the range-topping Tiger 900 Rally Pro. Check out the variant-wise prices (ex-showroom) below:

- Tiger 900 GT: Rs 13,70,000

- Tiger 900 Rally: Rs 14,35,000

- Tiger 900 Rally Pro: Rs 15,50,000

The road-focussed GT series replaces the XR range while the off-road-focused Rally range replaces the XC series. The GT range uses alloy wheels and shorter suspension travel. The Rally series, on the other hand, comes equipped with tubeless tyre-compatible spoke wheels and a longer suspension travel.

Standard equipment on all three models include seven-inch TFT display, optimised cornering ABS and traction control with IMU, all-LED lighting with DRLs, secure mobile phone storage and heated grips. The top-spec Rally Pro further benefits from LED auxiliary fog lights, illuminated switches, heated seats (rider and pillion), tyre presume monitoring system, My Triumph Connectivity System and a centre stand as standard.

Engine specifications on all three versions include an 888cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 12-valve, DOHC engine that produces 93.9 bhp at 8,750rpm and 87Nm at 7,250rpm. The engine is linked to a six-speed transmission. The Triumph Shift Assist up and down quickshifter is available as standard on the Tiger 900 Rally Pro while the Tiger 900 GT and Tiger 900 Rally get it as an optional extra.

The Tiger 900 GT is available in three colour options – Pure White, Sapphire Black and Korosi Red. The Tiger 900 Rally & Rally Pro, too, are available in thee colour choices – Pure White, Sapphire Black and Matt Khaki. All variants can be further customised with over 65 optional accessories.
