Three dual-tone colour options available
Tiger Sport based on the Trident 660
Priced at Rs 8.95 lakh, ex-showroom
Triumph Motorcycles recently launched the Tiger Sport 660 in Idia with a price tag of Rs 8.95 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. And the British manufacturer is offering its latest motorcycle in choice of three dual-tone colour options.
You can opt for the Tiger Sport 660 in a Lucerene Blue and Sapphire Black shade or the Graphite and Sapphire Black if subtlety is what you desire. On the other hand, the Korosi Red and Graphite paint scheme is relatively more flashy and comes with silver graphics on the tank.
Now, the Tiger Sport 660 is based on the Trident 660 that we have come to admire each time we rode it. However, the Tiger Sport is slightly different. It is more touring focused with a tall windscreen, longer-travel suspension and a revised sub-frame too.
However, the rest of the motorcycle is essentially the same as its streetfighter sibling. The feature list includes full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-ready fully-digital instrument cluster, two riding modes (road and rain), switchable traction control, and ABS. Powering the Tiger Sport 660 is a 660cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, the same as the Trident 660. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the engine produces 80bhp and 64Nm.
