The all-new Triumph Tiger Sport 660 has started to arrive at the dealerships soon after its Indian launch. The most affordable Tiger series motorcycle was launched in our market on 29 March, 2022 at an ex-showroom (India) price tag of Rs 8.95 lakh.
This new product from the British marque rivals the Kawasaki Versys 650 and Suzuki V-Storm 650XT in the Indian market. This Tiger series model is based on the Trident 660roadster, although it features touring-focussed styling and equipment. The design, for example, includes a twin-pod headlight, step-up seat, split-style grabrail, and an underbelly exhaust. The feature list comprises full-LED lighting, a Bluetooth-ready instrument cluster, two riding modes, traction control system, and ABS.
The motorcycle is available in three colours – Lucerne Blue with Sapphire Black, Graphite & Sapphire Black, and Korosi Red & Graphite. The Korosi Red & Graphite paint theme is available at a premium of Rs 13,000 over other colour options.
The mechanical specifications include the same 660cc, inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine as the Trident 660. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the motor is tuned to produce 80bhp of power at 10,250rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm.
