TVS has been spotted testing the new Apache RR 310 recently, giving us glimpses of what to expect from the new model. Here is a list of updates that the new Apache RR 310 is likely to get-
New instrument console
The new Apache RR 310 gets a large, rectangular, colour-TFT screen that will replace the uniquely-designed LCD unit on the current model. This instrument console will come with TVS’s SmartXonnect system that allows the rider to pair their smartphone via Bluetooth. It also features a new switchgear to toggle through the new instrument console.
Updated electronics
We also expect TVS to equip the new RR 310 with an electronic rider aid package which includes a dual-channel ABS and riding modes. These modes are likely to modulate throttle response which means that the motorcycle could also be sporting a ride-by-wire throttle.
Updated cycle parts
The motorcycle seems to offer the same suspension and braking hardware, although it will get a new pair of tyres. These appear to be the top-spec Michelin Road 5 tyres which are usually found on high-end sportbikes.
New colour schemes
While the overall styling is the same as the current model, the new Apache RR 310 will be offered in new colour schemes one of which is a dual-tone option. As seen in the spy images, this colour scheme consists of grey and black along with red highlights that add to its sporty character.
Pricing
All of these updates mean that the new RR 310 could see a significant increase in pricing. We expect it to demand a premium of Rs 15,000-Rs 20,000 over the 2019 model which costs Rs 2.25 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
