- 2021 TVS Apache RR310 launching on 30 August
- Likely to get adjustable suspension and a new ECU
- New colours and graphics to be introduced
TVS Motor Company is all set to launch the new 2021 edition of its flagship motorcycle, the Apache RR310, in India. The company has sent out an invite confirming its launch date of 30 August, 2021. Notably, the launch of this version was scheduled to take place earlier this year but the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic played spoilsport.
The motorcycle is likely to receive a couple of updates in terms of features and hardware. The front suspension could get a preload adjustability option, just like the new Apache RTR 200 4V. In all certainty, subtle cosmetic tweaks like new colours and graphics will also be a part of the package.
Our sources also suggest that the updated Apache RR310 will incorporate a new race ECU (engine control unit), perhaps for better throttle response and a racier engine character. Furthermore, its 33.2bhp, 312.2cc, liquid-cooled engine might be lower on vibrations and a bit smoother. While its full-colour TFT screen is already loaded with data, TVS may have updated its Bluetooth-enabled SmartXonnect system with new features.
At present, the TVS Apache RR310 costs Rs 2.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Considering the changes it’s expected to receive, a premium of around Rs 8,000-10,000 should be justifiable.
