- TVS Apache RTR 160 4V facelift in the works
- Likely to only get cosmetic changes
- To be launched in India by the end of this year
TVS Motor Company is working on an updated Apache RTR 160 4V, a leaked image reveals.
The most noticeable change is the headlamp unit. It is now sharper and angular and looks similar to the TVS Draken concept. It will get full-LED lighting along with the distinctive LED twin pilot lamps. Apart from this, the Apache RTR 160 4V is likely to remain the same cosmetically. In terms of features, the bike is likely to get a Bluetooth-enabled LCD display which could offer turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts.
The Apache RTR 160 4V will be powered by a BSVI-compliant version of the 159cc engine that does duty on the current bike. The new RTR 160 4V will continue to ride on telescopic forks although with gold-finished fork bottles. Moreover, the leaked image reveals that the bike will ride on sportier alloy wheels borrowed from its bigger sibling, the Apache RTR 200 4V.
We expect TVS to launch the updated Apache RTR 160 4V in India sometime soon and cost a slight premium over the current model which is priced at Rs 99,101 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
