TVS Motor Company has announced the launch of its new iQube electric scooter in the Indian market with prices starting from Rs 98,564 onwards. The latest iteration of the electric scooter will be available in three variants. Here we list the top five highlights of the new TVS iQube.
Variants, Prices, and Bookings
The new TVS iQube will be available in three variants – Base, S, and ST. The Base and S variants are currently available for booking while the ST variant will arrive later. However, interested buyers can pre-book the ST version. The Base model is available at Rs 98,564 while the S version is available at Rs 1,08,690.
Battery Pack and Range
The ST variant features a bigger battery pack that promises a longer range than the Base and the S versions. The 5.1kWh battery on the ST promises an on-road range of 140km. This version also benefits from a 1.5kW fast-charging mechanism. The Base and the S variants, on the other hand, use a 3.4kWh battery that is claimed to deliver an on-road range of 100km per charge.
Performance
Apart from boasting a larger battery pack, the ST version also packs a higher top speed than the rest of the versions. The top speed on the ST version is rated at 82kmph. Meanwhile, the S and the Base versions can achieve a top speed of 78kmph.
Features
The new TVS iQube ST TVS packs features such as a seven-inch TFT touchscreen with a five-way joystick for interaction, music control, proactive notifications including vehicle health, 4G telematics, OTA updates, and 32-litre underseat storage. The scooter offers infinite theme personalisation, voice assist and TVS iQube Alexa skillset. The S version, in comparison, gets a seven-inch TFT display, a five-way joystick for interaction, music control, theme personalisation, and proactive notifications including vehicle health. Lastly, the Base version gets a five-inch TFT display with a turn-by-turn navigation assist.
Colours
The new iQube is available in 11 colours. The options, however, depend upon the version selected. The ST version is available in four colours – Starlight Blue Glossy, Titanium Grey Matte, Coral Sand Glossy, and Copper Bronze Matte. The S version, too, is available in four paint options – Mercury Grey Glossy, Mint Blue, Lucid Yellow, and Copper Bronze Glossy. The Base model, in comparison, is available in three colours – Shining Red, Titanium Grey Glossy, and Pearl White.
