- Likely to get revised aesthetics
- Could get the same 109.7cc, air-cooled engine
- To debut in August
TVS is preparing to launch a new offering very soon and we have received the invitation for the same. We think it could be the updated TVS Jupiter 110 as the scooter has been due for an update for a while now. We even talked about the same in our exclusive story a couple of months ago.
The teaser image shows a curved LED DRL which we think would be of the new Jupiter 110. Apart from that, it is also expected to get a revised tail light and look slightly more youthful than the current model. This could also mean the introduction of new paint schemes along with the said updates.
Apart from the visual tweaks, we expect TVS to retain the engine and a majority of the hardware. So, the updated TVS Jupiter 110 could get the same 109.7cc, air-cooled engine with the output rated at 7.77bhp and 8.8Nm. It comes linked to a CVT.
The TVS Jupiter gets an underbone frame suspended on telescopic front forks and a monoshock. It gets disc and drum brake option at the front and a drum brake at the rear. These are mounted on 12-inch alloy or sheet metal wheels wrapped in 90/90 tyres.
Since the Jupiter 110 has remained the same for a while now, the updates on it would be a nice refresh. We will be riding it soon and the launch date too will be revealed soon. So, stay tuned to BikeWale for further updates.
