The new-generation TVS Jupiter 110 has been completely revamped with new styling, bigger engine, and best-in-segment features. The scooter is available in four variants – Drum, Drum Alloy, Drum SXC, and Disc SXC. Here’s how these variants differ from each other.
Drum
This is the most affordable, entry-level variant, priced at Rs. 73,700 (ex-showroom). It misses out on features such as alloy wheels, front disc brake, and a colour LCD with Bluetooth connectivity. Instead, it gets drum brakes at both ends, steel wheels, and a semi-digital instrument cluster. The base variant is available in three colours – Meteor Red Gloss, Titanium Grey Matte, and Lunar White Gloss.
Drum Alloy
The Drum Alloy variant sits above the base variant and is priced at Rs. 79,200 (ex-showroom). It offers similar features as the drum variant but rides on 12-inch alloy wheels instead of steel wheels. Besides the three paint schemes available on the base variant, the Drum Alloy variant is offered in an additional Starlight Blue Gloss shade.
Drum SXC
The biggest addition in this variant is the inclusion of a fully coloured instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. The TVS SmartXonnect system enables features such as turn-by-turn navigation, voice assist, call and text alerts, find by vehicle, average fuel economy, distance to empty, and more. This variant also gets the infinity LED light bar with integrated turn indicators.
It is available in three paint schemes – Dawn Blue Matte, Galactic Copper Matte, and Starlight Blue Gloss. The Dawn Blue shade is the best-looking paint scheme of the new Jupiter, and also the marketing colourway from TVS. This variant costs Rs. 83,250 (ex-showroom).
Disc SXC
As the name suggests, this variant comes equipped with a 220mm front disc brake, while the rest of the features list and colour options remain unchanged. The top-spec Disc SXC variant is priced at Rs. 87,250 (ex-showroom).
Some standard features across the new TVS Jupiter range are LED lighting, a USB charging port, engine kill switch, first-in-segment external front fuel filler cap, two-litre front storage space, and a large under-seat storage space that can accommodate two helmets.
Powering the 2024 TVS Jupiter is a 113.3cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 7.91bhp at 6,500rpm and a peak torque of 9.2Nm at 5,000rpm. The motor also comes with TVS’ iGO Assist feature, which increases the torque output to 9.8Nm. This helps in quicker acceleration when you wish to make a fast overtake.
