TVS Motor Company has expanded its Indian portfolio with the launch of the new Jupiter 125 scooter. The new product from the Hosur-based manufacturer will rival the likes of the Suzuki Access 125 and the Honda Activa 125.
The new TVS Jupiter 125 is available in four colours – Dawn Orange, Indiblue, Pristine White, and Titanium Grey. TVS Motor Company will offer three variants of the 125cc scooter – Drum, Drum-Alloy, and Disc. The top variant features chrome garnishing that is visible near the headlight, front apron, rear-view mirror housing, and on the side panels. The scooter also gets a body-coloured pillion grab-rail.
The base model with drum brakes and steel wheels is available at Rs 73,400. The mid variant, which has been priced at Rs 76,800, gets alloy wheels and drum brakes on both wheels. Lastly, the top-spec model has been listed at Rs 81,300. This variant benefits from alloy wheels and a front disc brake as standard. The safety net on all variants of the scooter includes combined braking system.
The feature list on the new TVS Jupiter 125 comprises an LED headlight, a semi-digital instrument cluster, 33-litre under-seat storage, an under-seat light, open glove box, USB charger, a side stand engine inhibitor, and a multi-function switch.
