- TVS Ntorq 125 likely to get new variant
- Could be fitted with new technology
TVS Motor Company is on a roll this past week, announcing an additional 100 million dollar investment in Norton and a partnership with Petronas for the Factory Racing team. Now, the manufacturer has released teasers of what looks like a new Ntorq 125 variant.
While the teaser doesn’t reveal much, it does focus on ‘XT’. We expect, it to indicate that the Ntorq 125 could get some more technology. Currently, the scooter is filled with features like riding modes and LED lighting. However, its instrumentation hasn’t received a significant update in recent years. And the updated or new version of the Ntorq 125 is likely to feature that and possibly more. Additionally, the scooter could also get a new paint scheme unique to the new variant.
Nonetheless, it is unlikely that TVS would change its 124cc, single-cylinder engine or any of its suspension or braking hardware with this update. Although, the scooter is likely to demand a higher price tag than the current Ntorq 125 XP which costs Rs 89,211, ex-showroom. That said, we also wouldn’t have to speculate much as the updated TVS Ntorq 125 is expected to be launched in India soon.
