New TVS Radeon with Reverse LCD Cluster: Top 5 Highlights

TVS Motor Company has launched a new variant of its 110cc commuter motorcycle, the Radeon in the Indian market. This new variant of the Radeon, which will rival the Hero Splendor XTEC in our market, gets a reverse LCD instrument cluster with a real-time fuel economy indicator. Here we list the top-five highlights of the new TVS Radeon with reverse LCD cluster.

Updated Instrument Cluster

The biggest update comes in the form of a reverse LCD instrument cluster. The updated display shows as many as 18 features including real-time fuel economy, service indicator, low battery indicator, top speed, average speed, and a clock. In comparison, the standard model uses a fully-analogue console with a twin-pod setup.

Features

TVS has also equipped this variant of the 110cc commuter with the Intelligo function which is aimed to deliver better fuel economy. This feature turns off the motor when the motorcycle is in a standstill in neutral gear for a few seconds. It can be started again by rolling the throttle.

Unchanged Design

The reverse LCD version retains the styling from the standard model. Thus, it features a single-pod headlight with a body-coloured cowl, 10-litre fuel tank with rubber pads, single-piece saddle, side-slung exhaust, and 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels. It also gets chrome treatment around the headlight, rear-view mirror housing, fuel-filler cap, and exhaust heat shield. Meanwhile, the hardware retains telescopic forks and dual springs to perform the suspension tasks. And the braking setup comprises drum brakes on both ends while a front disc is available for a premium price.
