TVS Motor Company launched the new Raider 125 in India recently with prices starting from Rs 77,500 (ex-showroom). And the motorcycle is being offered in a choice of four colour options.
There is the Fiery Yellow, Striking Red, Blazing Blue, and Wicked Black paint schemes on offer. All colour options are combined with black tank shrouds and side panels along with a silver-finished rear section. Now, being a sporty commuter, the TVS Raider gets a modern styling with full-LED headlamp, muscular fuel tank, a engine belly cowl, and split seats as well.
Powering the motorcycle is a 124.8cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that produces 11.2bhp and 11.2Nm. As for features, TVS has equipped the Raider with a first-in-class list that includes- two riding modes, full-LED lighting, a colour digital display with Bluetooth connectivity on the Connected variant.
The TVS Raider rides on 30mm telescopic forks up front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear while braking is done by a 240mm disc and 130mm drum. It goes up against the Hero Glamour Xtec, Honda SP 125 and Bajaj Pulsar NS125 in India.
