Will have a 6 speed gearbox
To feature ride-by-wire
Will be the second liquid-cooled engine from TVS
TVS has unveiled a new engine at the MotoSoul 2024. This is called the RTX D4 with a capacity of about 300cc and will be the second liquid-cooled engine from TVS. The TVS RTXD4 will benefit from a six-speed gearbox and also get a ride-by-wire system. Further, with torque in focus, the RTXD4 TVS’ focus in on linear torque delivery. TVS claims a patented deflector plus duct system for efficient thermal management.
It will make nearly 35bhp at 9,000rpm and 28.5Nm at 7,000rpm. The first motorcycle to use this new platform will be the Adventure motorcycle from TVS, which will likely be called the RTX. The bike has already been spotted testing and we know that it will get rugged styling supported by hardware comprising long travel suspension, spoke wheels, off-road tyres and a tall stance overall.
