New TVS automatic scooter spied testing

A new TVS automatic scooter has been spied testing in Chennai. The same vehicle has also been spotted in Bengaluru. Reports suggest that it is larger than the Wego but will share many of its components including the engine with it.

The test scooter that was spotted in Chennai had black alloy wheels, basic instrumentation, shutter lock mechanism and drum brakes. A convenient feature that has been highlighted in the pictures is the fact that the scooter has its fuel filler lid on the back, just above the tail lamp cluster. This new two-wheeler is expected to be powered by the same single cylinder 110cc mill from the Wego that produces 8PS of power and 8Nm of torque.

This new offering from the Hosur based manufacturer is expected to compete with the Honda Activa, Honda Dio and the Suzuki Access.
