- Yamaha FZ-X launched in three paint schemes
- All colours are available with and without the Y-Connect feature
- Prices start at Rs 1,16,800
Yamaha Motor India recently launched its all-new neo-retro motorcycle, the FZ-X, in India. While it’s essentially based on the FZ FI mechanically, the styling is inspired by the XSR155 available in the international markets. Complementing its retro styling are three jazzy-looking paint schemes.
The most vibrant of these is the Metallic Blue variant that gets a blue fuel tank sporting some funky old-school graphics. It also boasts a brown seat, silver side panels and blue wheel rim tapes. Furthermore, it is available in an understated Matte Black shade which gets a dual tone seat. This black and grey seat is also a part of the Matte Copper colour scheme.
All three paint schemes can be had either with or without Yamaha’s Y-Connect Bluetooth technology. While the standard model is priced at Rs 1,16,800, the Bluetooth-enabled variant costs Rs 1,19,800 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
Powering the FZ-X is the same 149cc, air-cooled engine that does duty on the FZ FI. Even the cycle parts are similar to its street bike sibling which include 17-inch alloy wheels, telescopic forks, a monoshock and a disc brake at both ends. The list of features includes a fully-digital instrument cluster, full-LED lighting and a USB charger.
