- New Yamaha FZ-X spotted
- Gets revised styling and dual-channel ABS
- Launch very soon
Yamaha India will soon refresh one of its most successful motorcycles – the FZ-X. The company has updated this FZ-S aesthetically as well as mechanically.
According to some leaked pictures, the Japanese brand will soon launch the 2023 version of the FZ-X – a motorcycle based on the famous FZS platform but borrows styling from the XSR range. The pictures show that the new FZ-X will get a refreshed fascia as it now includes a windscreen and a projector headlamp with integrated DRL. Also, if you look closely, a metal frame connects the fuel tank to the headlight – something that we see on the Royal Enfield Himalayan. This new addition must have made the motorcycle look rugged and tough.
In terms of mechanical changes, the 2023 FZ-X will now get a dual-channel ABS instead of a single-channel. Besides this, the bike receives golden alloy wheels that are bound to make the motorcycle look pretty appealing. There could be many more changes; however, it is difficult to spot using just these two pictures.
We expect the new FZ-X will be offered in new paint schemes and a revised instrument cluster. But this can be confirmed only when the motorcycle is revealed in its full glory, which will likely happen in the next few weeks.
