The FZ-S derives its styling from the FZ-1; a litre-class street naked that is now been discontinued internationally. So there is a low-slung headlamp and a brawny fuel-tank with faux air intakes on either side. It also gets a single-piece seat and a uniquely styled tail lamp.
On the other hand, the FZ-X takes inspiration from the XSR 155 and sports a round headlamp, tuck and roll design for the seat, aluminum brackets for the headlamp and front fender and a boxy fuel tank. To add a rugged character, Yamaha has equipped the FZ-X with fork gaiters and block pattern tyres.
Colours

Even the layout of the unit is different from the one on the FZ-S. Lastly, the FZ-X also sports a full-LED tail lamp unlike the FZ-S which gets a conventionally lit unit.
Engine
Here both the motorcycles are the same. They both come powered by a 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that churns out 12.2bhp and 13.6Nm. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox.
