Here we list the alternatives that potential buyers can consider in a similar price range as the new Yamaha FZ-X.
Suzuki Gixxer 155 (Rs 1,18,847)
Suzuki Motorcycle India’s 155cc roadster segment product, the Gixxer 155 is available in a similar price range as the Yamaha FZ-X. The premium commuter from the Japanese two-wheeler brand features a sporty design that is complemented by features such as an LED headlight, an LED taillight, and a digital instrument cluster. However, unlike the Yamaha FZ-X, the Suzuki Gixxer 155 does not get a Bluetooth-connectivity option. Mechanical specifications include a 155cc, single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power of 13.41bhp and a peak torque of 13.8Nm.
The home-grown dual-purpose Hero XPulse 200 packs off-road focussed hardware that comprise a 21-inch front wheel and long travel suspension. Bajaj Pulsar 180F (Rs 1,15,071)

The 178.6cc, single-cylinder engine on the Pulsar 180F makes 16.76bhp of power and 14.52Nm of peak torque. The feature list comprises a halogen headlight, an LED taillight, and a semi-digital instrument cluster.
