Yamaha has readied a brand new MT-09 for the world market. The company recently released a teaser video of its 2021 model.  

This upcoming Yamaha is likely to get a big aesthetic upgrades along with the performance ones. From the teaser, it is quite clear that the new MT-09 will get a brand new all-LED setup. The paint scheme is new too. The chassis and swingarm are also likely to be brand new. The tail section, wheels and even the fuel tank design looks new.  

In terms of performance, the new MT-09’s engine will displace 890cc and churn out more power at 118bhp instead of the previous 114bhp. These changes will also help the bike meet the Euro 5 emission norms. There’s no information on the gearbox or its other equipment as of now. But we can expect more details to be revealed in the next few days.
