Yamaha has launched the 2023 MT-15 in India and updated it with new features and a new colour.
The new MT-15 gets a new Metallic Black colour in the Deluxe variant that will be sold alongside the previous Ice Fluo Vermillion, Racing Blue and Cyan options. Apart from the new colour, the 2023 Yamaha MT-15 is now equipped with LED turn-indicators and dual-channel ABS as standard. Despite these changes, Yamaha hasn’t hike the price of the MT-15 which continues to retail at Rs 1.68 lakh, ex-showroom.
It continues to come powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder engine that churns out 20.2bhp and 27Nm. This motor gets the VVA technology like the R15 and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The MT-15 also gets a LCD instrument cluster that is Bluetooth enabled and connects to a smartphone. As its competition, the Yamaha MT-15 goes up against the KTM 125 Duke in the country.
