- Priced from Rs 1.60 lakh
- Offered in four new paint scheme
- Gets a handful of updates
Yamaha finally launched the MT-15 Version 2.0 in India recently with a sticker price of Rs 1.60 lakh. And the updated motorcycle is now being offered in four new colour schemes.
The Metallic Black paint scheme is the most affordable and now sports a silver ‘MT’ logo and graphic on the faux intakes unlike the previous all-black version. You can also have the MT-15 V2 in Yamaha’s iconic Racing Blue shade that sports colour matched wheels.
The motorcycle’s Ice Vermillion paint scheme has also been updated and now apart from the wheels also sports hints of vermillion in its graphics. And if you want something flashier, Yamaha is offering the new MT-15 V2 in the Cyan Storm shade. As its name suggests, the MT-15 is adorned with cyan wheels and graphics that contrast well with the silver and black base paint.
These three paint schemes for the MT-15 are price slightly higher at Rs 1.61 lakh. However, all of the colours go well with the MT-15 V2’s new golden fork bottles and upside down forks. In addition to this, the updated motorcycle also sports a new aluminum swingarm that replaces the box-type unit on the previous version.
It also gets a Bluetooth connected instrument cluster borrowed from the R15 V4 as standard. Nonetheless, the engine and other bits of components remain the same on the MT-15 which comes powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder engine with liquid-cooling and the Variable Valve Technology.
