A new modification kit for the Yamaha YZF R15 V3 has been launched in India by Autologue Design. The Pune-based customisation firm has named it the ‘V3 Aero Kit’ which comprises a fuel tank cover and MotoGP-style fairing winglets.
The fuel tank cover, which costs Rs 4,500, comes with a thicker centre ridge and black cover on the sides. And there are winglets that are placed under the headlamp and extend back up to the indicators. The winglets are pegged at Rs 2,250 and these prices are excluding taxes and shipping charges.
It’s worth noting that the company is offering a substantial discount for the first 10 orders. You can book the aero kit online at Rs 2,000 while the balance amount needs to be paid after the package is ready. Deliveries will commence in a couple of weeks.
Although the kit includes just minor add-ons, these components would be ideal to add that extra bit of raciness to the R15. It already boasts a design that’s quite aggressive and radical for a 155cc motorcycle. With a pair of minimalistic LED headlamps, faux central air intake, angular fairing, and a pointed upswept tail, the R15 looks ready to hit the racetrack even in its stock form.
The Yamaha R15 V3 is available in four colour options. The Metallic Red and Thunder Grey shades are priced at Rs 1,52,100, the Racing Blue edition retails for Rs 1,53,200 while the Dark Knight trim is the most expensive at Rs 1,54,200 (all prices are ex-showroom, Delhi).
