Yamaha recently showcased the upcoming Ray ZR Street Rally 125 and will be launched in January 2020. Before the pricing is out, we bring to you a detailed photo gallery of the 125cc scooter.
In term of overall design, the Street Rally 125 is similar to the Cygnus Ray ZR 125. However, it gets slight changes that make it look rugged.To begin with, the Street Rally 125 is offered in two distinctive colour schemes- Olive green and Blue along with sporty-looking graphics.
It also sports aluminum-finished side body panels unlike the Cygnus Ray ZR 125 which gets body-colour matching panels.
The Ray ZR Street Rally 125 sports full-knuckle guards that lend it a distinctive and rugged appeal.
Furthermore, it also rides on block-pattern, dual-purpose tyres sourced from Maxxis that are wrapped on a 12-inch front and 10-inch rear wheel.
Yamaha has paid attention to detail when it comes to the Street Rally 125. The scooter sports a red-finished spring at the rear which adds to its sporty character.
The scooter boasts of a digital instrument console which displays speed, rpm, trip and odometer along with a fuel-gauge. It also gets tell-tale lights that provide other essential information.
The Ray ZR Street Rally comes powered by a 125cc single-cylinder engine with Yamaha’s Blue Core technology. This motor produces 8bhp of power and 9.7Nm of torque.
In terms of direct competition, the Ray ZR Street Rally will compete against the Aprilia SR125 Storm.
