The new Yamaha Tenere 700 will be showcased at the upcoming Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The ADV is one of the most anticipated motorcycles and it was recently showcased at EICMA 2024. Yamaha is strongly considering it for the Indian market and decisions will be made on the basis of the response at the Bharat Mobility Expo.
The updated Yamaha 700 features a number of changes over its predecessor. To begin with, it gets a refreshed design. There’s a new headlight, the body panels are colour matched, there are new indicators and a new one-piece, rally style kit.
Yamaha has also introduced a new ride-by-wire system and two ride modes-Explorer and Sport. The bike is powered by a 698cc, parallel-twin engine and as part of the updates, the six-speed gearbox gets revised internals.
In terms of features, there is a TFT instrument cluster that’s styled to resemble a rally book which is seen on the Dakar bikes. There’s new switchgear as well as a USB-C charging port.
Lastly, the bike gets new suspension. There’s an adjustable 43mm USD fork and monoshock. Yamaha has introduced a stronger, aluminium upper and lower clamp.
The Yamaha Tenere 700 will be one of the big attractions at the Yamaha pavilion, among other big bikes that are going to be shown.
