- 2024 Tenere 700 unveiled
- Gets new ABS modes
- Equipped with a five-inch TFT screen
Yamaha has taken the wraps off its famous middleweight adventure bike – the 2024 Tenere 700. This is a 2024 model and is now loaded with some new features.
For starters, the 2024 Tenere 700 now gets a new instrument cluster. It is a five-inch full-colour TFT display that has dual theme mode. The first has a modern layout, whereas the second is a retro-analog-styled one. These features can be selected via a new scrolling dial on the handlebar's right side. It also gets Bluetooth connectivity which can be accessed via Yamaha's smartphone app. The rider can see the call and text notifications on the instrument cluster through this feature.
The Japanese brand has also equipped this ADV with LED turn indicators at the front and back. The quick-shifter is now factory fitted but needs to opt for as an option at the time of purchase. Regarding safety tech, the bike now gets three ABS modes – Mode One has full ABS activation at the front and rear. Mode Two switches off the ABS on the rear wheel. Mode Three shuts off the ABS completely.
Currently, the 2024 Yamaha Tenere 700 is available in two colours – Blue and Grey and these models will go on sale from September onwards in the European market. Sadly, this bike has no plans to come to India anytime soon.
