- Yamaha XSR125 makes its way to Europe
- Powered by a 124cc Euro5 engine
- Available in three colour options
Yamaha has launched the new XSR125 in Europe. The XSR125 is a neo-retro motorcycle and is the smallest offering in the company's motorcycle lineup. The motorcycle gets a lean and compact design with graphics across its 11-litre fuel tank. It gets a single-piece seat, and a circular headlamp and tail lamp design. It also comes with features like all LED lights and a circular LCD dash.
Powering the motorcycle is a 124cc single-cylinder Euro5 engine that sits in a deltabox frame and churns out 14.75bhp at 10,000rpm and 11.5Nm at 8,000rpm. All this power and torque is taken to its wheels via a six-speed gearbox. The ride here is taken care of by 37mm USD forks at the front and swingarm suspension at the rear. For better stopping power, it mounts disc brakes on both ends.
The bike is available in three colour options: Redline, Impact Yellow, and Tech Black. There's also a configurator option wherein consumers can configure the bike as per their liking. Meanwhile, the company seems to have plans of introducing the FZ-X instead of the XSR series in the Indian market. We have already shared the details related to the FZ-X and the XSR125 type approval document, which you can check by clicking right here.
