- Upcoming Yezdi motorcycle teased
- Likely to be the Roadking
- Will compete against the Royal Enfield Meteor 350
The iconic motorcycle brand, Yezdi, is all set to be resurrected by Classic Legends, the same company which sells Jawa models in India. After the spy shots of multiple Yezdi models surfacing on the internet a while back, one of the motorcycles has officially been teased now. This is likely to be the modern iteration of the Roadking.
The teaser video of the new Roadking doesn’t reveal much, except for a slight glimpse of its silhouette. All that we can decipher is that the overall design flows downward towards the end with an oval-shaped fuel tank, and long front suspension with presumably an 18-inch spoke wheel.
Once launched, the motorcycle is likely to be a close competitor to the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 with a cruiser theme. Rumours suggest that powering the motorcycle is a 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 30.64bhp and 32.74Nm in the Jawa Perak bobber-styled offering. Furthermore, the motorcycle is likely to be available in two cosmetically-different variants.
The exact launch timeline of the Yezdi Roadking is not known yet. However, the teaser video comprises the text ‘Another Resurrection Coming Soon,’ indicating that an official announcement might be around the corner.
