- Prices start at Rs 3.85 lakh
- Available in two variants
- Rivals the likes of KTM RC390
BMW Motorrad India’s third product, the G 310 RR has received over 1,000 bookings in our market, the company announced via its social media platforms. The motorcycle, which is the rebadged version of the TVS Apache RR 310, was launched in the Indian market with prices starting from Rs 3.85 lakh onwards.
The new BMW G 310 RR is offered in two variants – Standard and Style Sport. The difference between the two variants is limited to visuals only. The Standard version features a Black Storm Metallic shade while the more premium Style Sport variant gets Racing Blue Metallic with Racing Red colour. The Standard and the Style Sport versions are priced at Rs 3.85 lakh and Rs 3.99 lakh, respectively.
The feature list on the motorcycle comprises full-LED lighting, a five-inch colour-TFT display, ride-by-wire throttle, four riding modes (Track, Urban, Rain and Sport), and dual-channel ABS with rear wheel lift-off protection. Surprisingly, unlike the TVS Apache RR 310, this BMW motorcycle misses Bluetooth connectivity.
The specifications, too, are similar to the Apache RR 310. Thus, the new G 310 RR uses a 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the motor produces 33.5bhp at 9,700rpm and a peak torque of 27.3Nm at 7,700rpm in Track and Sport modes. The power and torque output is lowered to 25.4bhp at 7,700rpm and 25Nm at 6,700rpm in Rain and Urban modes.
