- Features Dakar-rally inspired styling
- Will be powered by a new 399cc motor
- Likely to be launched in India in early 2025
Adventure enthusiasts have a reason to rejoice as KTM's next-generation 390 Adventure has been spied testing in India once again. This time around, the motorcycle was spotted testing at night possibly inside a tunnel.
For 2025, the new KTM 390 Adventure will ditch its road-focused persona in favour of a more off-road-centric makeover. The ADV was seen in near-production form, and the 2025 model will flaunt a Dakar-inspired rally look that will include a beak-style fender, large fairing, and a lean tail section.
The motorcycle will also feature a rally-inspired high-mounted colour TFT, which seems to be similar to the new 390 Duke. The new 390 Adventure will be underpinned by the same frame that underpins its street-focused sibling, the 390 Duke. It will ride on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, wrapped on knobby tyres.
Powering the new KTM 390 Adventure will be the familiar 399cc, liquid-cooled engine from the 390 Duke, which pumps out 45.3bhp and 39Nm of peak torque. The LC4c motor will be paired with a six-speed gearbox.
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is expected to make its global debut in late 2024, possibly at EICMA. Meanwhile, the India launch is likely to take place in early 2025. Once launched, it will lock horns with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, BMW G 310 GS and the upcoming Hero Xpulse 400.
