- New Chetak line-up unveil tomorrow
- A low-cost model could be launched
- Prices could increase marginally
Bajaj will unveil a new generation of Chetak electric scooters tomorrow. But it looks like the company will unveil an entire range.
A few days ago, we told you about the most affordable Chetak that is likely to be launched on 20 December. In fact, a production-ready test mule was spotted which was running steel wheels and cheaper cycle parts. But it looks like the Pune-based manufacturer could unveil an entire range of Chetak e-scooters that will cater to various price points.
Currently, Bajaj sells a total of seven variants of Chetak at various price points. Some of these variants have lower riding range and top speed, whereas some have higher riding range as well as top speed. While the overall styling aspects among all the variants remain the same, the feature list varies.
Bajaj is likely to launch the new Chetak range with a new or updated motor and battery packs that could use a new generation of cells. This company is known to innovate and bring these innovations to customers as quickly as possible. With the introduction of new tech, the price of the new Chetak is likely to go up marginally.
