- New 390 Adventure ready for launch
- Could be unveiled at 2024 EICMA
- Will be made in India
KTM has decided to re-participate at the biggest motorcycle show in the world – EICMA. It had missed the last two editions, but it looks like 2024 is when the Austrian company wants to make its presence felt, as it has some big unveils planned.
According to the company’s website, KTM plans to showcase a range of adventure motorcycles, along with some new 2025 concepts, and that makes us believe that the new 390 Adventure is likely to have a global unveil between 5 and 6 November.
Over the last few months, we’ve seen multiple spy shots of this new 390 Adventure and most of the time, the production-ready prototypes were spotted. In some cases, the standard 390 Adventure variant was spotted and there have been times when the Enduro variant was also seen doing the rounds of Pune. So it is clear that the next generation 390 Adventure will have multiple variants.
The current range has a total of two variants –alloy wheel and spoke wheel. This makes us believe that the new model will also have a road version as well as an off-road version. However, initially, the company could only bring a single variant. Interestingly, the new Duke 390 was unveiled in India first, followed by a global launch. The 390 platform is more focused towards Indian and Southeast Asian markets, so it made sense to have a launch here. So, will KTM skip the global unveil of the 390 Adventure at EICMA, or have it launched at the 2024 India Bike Week? Only time will tell that.
