The 2024 KTM 390 Duke has been spied on testing once again ahead of its launch in India. The motorcycle was spotted alongside the next-generation Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, which is likely to be launched next year. We believe the new 390 Duke is undergoing its final rounds of testing before it is launched globally.
When will the new KTM 390 Duke be launched?
Although the latest spy picture would make you believe that the launch is just around the corner, the official launch is still some time away. KTM will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Duke nameplate in 2024, and we expect it to be launched in India in early 2024. It is likely to make its global debut at the Milan motor show (EICMA) in November 2023.
What will be the engine specifications?
The new-gen 390 Duke will get mechanical updates in the form of a new liquid-cooled engine, which is likely to be a 399cc unit. Although the official power figures aren’t available yet, the motor is likely to produce more power and improved low-end torque.
What features will the new KTM 390 Duke get?
We expect the next-generation KTM 390 Duke to offer the best-in-segment features and electronic rider aids. Besides the features already on offer in the current-gen 390 Duke, the new-gen model could come equipped with IMU-based lean-sensitive cornering ABS, a traction control system, and possibly riding modes as well. The motorcycle is also likely to get adjustable suspension at both ends.
