The Oben Rorr electric motorcycle is now available at a Rs 25,000 discount as part of the company’s ‘Freedom Offer.’ The company says that the offer is valid will 15 August. Following the discount, the Oben Rorr is now available at Rs 1.25 lakh, ex-showroom.
The Oben Rorr is among the few electric motorcycles that are currently on sale in India. The Oben Rorr is powered by an 8kW electric motor that is linked to a 4.4kWh battery. The Rorr is capable of hitting a top speed of 100kmph and its battery runs out of juice after covering 187km.
In terms of features, the bike gets LED illumination, a digital screen, three ride modes, and a USB charging port.
We rode the Oben Rorr a few months ago. While the battery range is decent and so is the build quality, there is scope for improvement in terms of braking and consistency in performance.
The electric bike goes up against the Revolt RV 400 Tork Kratos R.
