- KTM RC series India launch confirmed via social media handles
- Launch date unavailable yet
- 2021 RC series already available for the international markets
KTM India has announced via its social media handles that the updated RC series will reach the Indian market very soon. The updated range, which comprises the RC125, RC200, and RC390, has already been unveiled for the international markets. However, the India-spec models could be slightly different from the international motorcycles.
The India-bound RC125 may not get all the features from the international-spec model. Instead, the company may use budget-friendly equipment such as a halogen headlight and a LCD instrument cluster instead of LED lighting and colour TFT display on the international model. The RC200, too, will feature a halogen headlight and 250 Adventure-style LCD screen. The 2021 RC390 will be similar to the international-spec model, although the India-bound motorcycle may miss adjustable front forks to keep the prices low.
The company has not revealed the launch timeline yet, although the new models could arrive ahead of the high-demand festive season. We expect the updated range to arrive in early-October 2021. The RC125 and the RC200 will rival the likes of Yamaha YZF-R15 V4.0 and Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 while the RC390 will rival the TVS Apache RR 310 in the Indian market.
