- All-new KTM RC range teased ahead of launch
- Updated range to feature revised styling and new features
- International-spec RC390 to feature adjustable front forks
KTM has confirmed via its social network channels that the all-new RC series will debut very soon. The company has released a teaser video that gives a brief glimpse at the upcoming RC range. The teaser video also shows a pit-board that shows the numbers 9/21, which suggest that the updated motorcycle range will debut in September 2021. Do note that our sources close to the developments had also suggested that the updated RC series will arrive in September 2021.
The all-new RC series will comprise of three models – RC125, RC200, and RC390. All three motorcycles have been fully revealed through leaked images that give a detailed look at their styling cues and the feature list. As seen in the leaked photographs, the all-new KTM RC series will feature a revised design that will comprise a single-pod headlight with fairing integrated turn indicators at the front and a shaper fairing. The updated model range would also receive tweaks in the cockpit in the form of a new instrument cluster, a revised seat setup, and relatively upright ergonomics.
The leaked photographs also confirmed that the new RC390 will feature adjustable front forks, although that feature is not likely to be available in the Indian market. The India-spec RC390, however, could receive a quickshifter as standard. The feature is already available on the India-spec 390 Duke and the 390 Adventure.
The updated models should carry a price premium over their respective predecessors.
