Okinawa Scooters, an Indian electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has announced its new 24x7 Roadside Assistance Programme (RSA) for its customers on the occasion of World Environment Day. Starting 5 June, the customers of Okinawa e-scooters can avail the benefits of this scheme by calling on a helpline number which will be active 24x7. Notably, the offer is valid only on the Okinawa I-Praise and Ridge+ models while the future products will also be entitled to receive these benefits.
Under the RSA scheme, the customers are being offered three-time free towing facility which includes two towing incidents during the policy and one for mechanical issues. Moreover, the company will also provide onsite repair facility, assistance for flat tyre, key lockout services, co-ordination in the extraction of vehicle and assistance on phone. In the case of battery discharge, accident, electrical or mechanical issues, the company will provide towing facility to the charging station with first 40kms being free. On top of that, the customers can also avail cab assistance from the breakdown spot.
Okinawa has started the 24x7 RSA initiative with the motto ‘You Never Ride Alone.’ The company says it intends to assure that the Okinawa customers are safe on the road and will never get stranded in case of emergencies.
