Electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Okinawa has announced a new custom hand painting service for its e-scooters and future products. Under the new service, professional artists will hand painted scooters with premium quality of colours based on the custom theme selected by the buyer. Every theme is designed by hands. Buyers can also opt to get his or her initials painted on the e-scooter.
The new service should attract the attention of the young buyers who are looking for custom paint for their scooter. Speaking about the new initiative, Jeetender Sharma, MD, Okinawa said that the company has been promoting the “Make in India” ideology in the sector and the new service providing custom hand-painted designs on the e-scooters is another step towards the same.
Interested buyers can visit the company’s newly designed website. Once the scooter is ready, it will be delivered through the local dealership. The new service is in line with the efforts of the brand to provide customers with a product of their choice and requirement.
In other updates, the Okinawa has confirmed that it will launch its new electric motorcycle, Oki100, in the third quarter of FY2020-21 (i.e. October-December 2020). The company announced that except for the battery cells, all the components of the upcoming electric motorcycle will be manufactured in India.
