- Recall in wake of recent thermal incidents
Okinawa Autotech has voluntarily recalled 3,215 units of Praise Pro scooters to fix any issue related to batteries with immediate effect. The company said in its press statement that this is part of its comprehensive power pack health check-up camps.
The electric two-wheeler maker will check the battery packs for loose connectors or any damage. Faulty units would be repaired free of charge at the Okinawa authorised dealerships across India. Okinawa Autotech is working with the dealer partners to ensure that the repair experience is as per the convenience of its customers, for which the vehicle owners will be contacted individually.
The company added in its press statement that this voluntary campaign is in the wake of the recent thermal incidents.
